4.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy

4.3 Beta Access

During our closed beta period (through Q4 2026), access to Project Datum is provided free of charge to approved participants. Beta access may be terminated at our discretion to ensure program quality.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until that date.

5. Your Data

5.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the data you submit to Project Datum. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5.2 License to Us

You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your data solely to provide our services.

5.3 Data Backup and Security

While we implement security measures and regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data.

5.4 Data Deletion

Upon account termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

6. Intellectual Property

Project Datum, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• Your account remains inactive for an extended period
• We are required to do so by law
• Continuing service creates risk or liability

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

Project Datum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use our services at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Datum and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to liability.

10. General Terms

10.1 Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10.2 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.3 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

10.4 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Project Datum regarding our services.
